We are on the eve of perhaps the most-watched US election and perhaps history in the making. The TV coverage has reached near fever-pitch even outside the country, and many people are a bit frantic over the possible results. Even in a non-election year, just getting through our daily life can be hectic. It can be hard to find space and time to reflect on who we are, what our path is, and how we can make the world a better place.
So here on this little blog I decided to create a sacred space for centering and share this prayer, written by our friend and mentor, John:
So here on this little blog I decided to create a sacred space for centering and share this prayer, written by our friend and mentor, John:
Sacred One
We pause this day aware that at times our hands and hearts are closed to the sacred in our midst and to others.
We are open to healing.
Healing that transforms us in ways of generosity and grace.
Help us to deepen our trust that there is enough.
May our hearts be softened, our hands opened that we may embrace the generosity inherent in all life; and in doing so extend it to the world.
This is our prayer.

Me thinks the right man won the race! Congratulations to the next President of the United States! What excitement for the Obama family today and for all those Americans who profoundly made the statement for a future full of change... As a Canadian it is great to feel energized and recharged by the aura this man delivers. Well done Americans! Be proud of your choice! I feel very privileged to be living in a time when Presidential history was made!
